Nature Walk

The Secret Valley Nature Walk was designed for persons who want to experience the rugged beauty of Dominica, be close to it and feel its vibrations without having to hike into the mountainous interior.

You will walk through a village then enter into a majestic and awesome valley guarded by mountains on both sides, and guess what? "a river runs through it",



you will hear its melody as you walk along.

This valley encapsulates the essence of the island's beauty and rugged terrain.

You will see different trees and crops grown by local farmers, you will learn the names of many things you probably have never seen or heard of before.

Be sure to take a notebook to document some of the things you will learn about the trees and farm crops that you will see, please do not forget your camera.

The walk is leisurely and easy, as you can see from the photo on the left you will actually be walking on an unpaved road with the river close to you at all times.

Please come and experience a whole 'other world' in the Secret Valley Nature Walk. When I first went into this Valley, I was so stricken by its beauty that in a moment of letting the imagination run wild, I could actually imagine the hand of God in one tempestuous momentuous stroke on infinite genius fashioning this stupendous marvel. I knew then and there that I wanted too share this sacred place with visitors to our shores.
